The concentrated resource and recycling industry met in Amberg for the 9th DGAW Science Congress "Waste and Resource Management". This year, the congress was hosted by Prof. Dr. Mario Mocker.

The expert jury awarded the prestigious science prize to the presentation on "Circular System Design - A Case study on Insulation Material in Switzerland" by Maja Wiprächtiger (ETH Zurich).

Next year, the 10th DGAW Science Congress "Waste and Resource Management" will take place in Dresden from March 19 to 20, 2020. The host will be Professor Christina Dornack (TU Dresden).
